Case Study: Faith+Hope

Branding, logo design, and custom typography for an East End launderette offering opportunities to those leaving prison.

Problem

The branding for this new business needed to appeal to potential customers (young professionals), while conveying its unique social mission.

Process

I explored potential connections with prison and rehabilitation, and we chose the name “Faith+Hope”—rhyming slang for “soap”. I then spent as long as possible on paper to develop logo ideas.

Solution

Working from brand keywords generous, roots, and raw, I developed and realized a custom font, logo, wordmark, and brand applications.
